How to pay for US online shopping from Zimbabwe
Paying US websites from Zimbabwe is the first obstacle for many shoppers. Cards are sometimes declined, and some sites reject foreign billing addresses.
Option 1: pay with your own card
If you have a Visa or Mastercard that works online, you can pay the store directly and ship to our Maryland address. This keeps you in full control of the purchase, and we only handle the shipping.
- Use your full name as the recipient and our US address for delivery.
- Use your own billing address on the card.
- Send us the order details straight after you buy.
Option 2: Buy-For-Me
If you cannot pay on US websites, Liyanda can buy the item for you. The service fee is 10% of the item total, plus shipping at normal rates. Message us on WhatsApp with the link to the item.
Ask for a full quote first: item price, our 10% fee and shipping to Harare, so you know the exact total before we buy.
Tips if your card keeps failing
- Ask your bank to enable international online payments.
- Make sure the billing address on the card matches exactly.
- Try a different payment method on the store, such as PayPal where offered.
