Cookie Policy
Last updated 14 October 2026
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. We also use similar browser storage. This page lists exactly what liyanda.com uses and why. Anything that is not strictly needed is off until you say yes.
Essential (always on)
The site cannot work properly without these, so they are not optional.
| Name | What it does | Type | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| liyanda-consent | Remembers your cookie choice so we do not ask again. | Browser storage | Until you clear site data |
| liyanda-cart-v1 | Keeps the items in your cart on this device. | Browser storage | Until you clear it or empty the cart |
| Sign-in session (sb-…) | Keeps you signed in if you create an account. | Browser storage | Until you sign out |
Our staff dashboard also sets a sign-in cookie, but only on staff devices after they log in. Visitors never receive it.
Analytics (only if you accept)
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful and how many people are sent on to eBay. We do not use it to identify you personally, and it never loads unless you accept analytics.
| Name | What it does | Type | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga, _ga_… | Google Analytics: counts visitors and shows which pages, searches and eBay buttons are used. Not loaded unless you accept. | Cookie (Google) | Up to 2 years |
Personalisation (only if you accept)
These make the site more convenient. They stay on your device and are not used for advertising.
| Name | What it does | Type | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| lsh | Your recent searches and viewed products, used to suggest relevant items in the store. | Cookie (Liyanda) | 90 days |
| liyanda-tracking | Your WhatsApp number and order reference, so the tracking page can fill itself in next time. | Browser storage | Until you press “Not you?” or clear site data |
Changing your mind
- Use Cookie settings in the footer of any page to change your choice at any time.
- Turning an option off also deletes the cookies it set on this device.
- You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, but your cart and sign-in may not be remembered.
Third parties
When you press “Buy on eBay” you leave liyanda.com, and eBay sets its own cookies under its own policy. Google Analytics is operated by Google; see Google’s privacy information for how it handles data.
