How to buy an iPhone from the USA and ship it to Zimbabwe

What it costs to ship

Phones are a flat $65 per unit, plus a $5 handling fee once per customer. Your first phone therefore costs about $70 to ship, and each extra phone $65.

What to buy

• Unlocked, not tied to a US carrier. Carrier-locked phones will not work with Zimbabwean SIM cards.
• Check the model number and storage before you pay.
• For used phones, check battery health, iCloud lock status and the return policy.
• Choose sellers with strong ratings, or buy new from Apple, Amazon, Best Buy or Walmart.

How to order

1. 1Shop on the US website with your own card and choose Standard (or any) shipping to our Maryland address.
2. 2Use your full name as the recipient and “C/O Liyanda Shipping” on the second line, so we know the parcel is yours.
3. 3Message us your full name and what you ordered as soon as you check out. We log it and send you an order reference.
4. 4Your parcel arrives at our Maryland warehouse, where we check it, photograph it and weigh it.
5. 5We tell you before the shipment leaves the USA. Shipments fly roughly every two weeks.

About the lithium battery fee

Phones contain lithium batteries, which airlines treat as special cargo. Any extra airline surcharge is confirmed in your quote, so you know the total up front.
